  • The admission process for German Studies shall be conducted within the limits of admissions adopted by the Senate of the University. The candidate shall indicate the preferred major in the IRK system at the registration for a study programme. The preference indication shall not be equivalent to being admitted for a particular major. The approved admission limit for the study programme shall be divided into individual majors mentioned above. The number of places for a particular major shall be determined by the Faculty. The final allocation shall be made according to the ranking list of those admitted to the German Studies (i.e., those who have obtained the higher number of points shall have priority in the selection of major, and those who have received the lower number of points shall be assigned to the majors where places are available). It is also stipulated that for the major: German Studies: Intercultural Communications with Swedish or German – knowledge of the German or Swedish language shall be required.
  • It is also stipulated that admission to the major with teacher training programme may only be applied for by candidates who have completed the 1st cycle studies in German Studies. These differences may be due to the different permissible order of delivery of the teaching-learning outcomes for a particular course of study in other higher education institutions.
  • If a student has to participate in compensatory activities, the student shall be obliged to pay a fee which shall be determined based on separate provisions.

  • A given major shall be launched with the number of candidates required to form one class group.
