Admissions criteria:
Students who have received an Engineer’s, Master's or equivalent degree in a study programme assigned to a field of exact and natural sciences or one assigned to a field of engineering and technology may apply for admission.
The qualification criterion shall be a competition of final grades on the graduation diplomas.
Qualification for studies shall be determined by the place on the ranking list created based on the candidate score (CS) calculated according to the formula below.
Method of calculating points (candidate score):
CS = 2 * D + O
where:
§ CS – candidate score,
§ D – a grade on the diploma of completion of a study programme assigned to disciplines of information and communication technology or computer science (D = 0 when the candidate has not completed a study programme assigned to disciplines of information and communication technology and computer science),
§ O – a grade on the diploma of completion of a study programme assigned to a field of engineering and technology other than in the discipline of technical informatics and telecommunications or in a field assigned to the field of exact and natural sciences other than in the discipline of computer science (O = 0 in other cases).
A language knowledge of at least B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, shall be expected.
The admission process shall be conducted for the summer semester.
In the case of graduates of other study programmes than those mentioned above or graduates from other universities, if the analysis of the 1st cycle studies reveals differences in the study programme and/or learning outcomes, the student shall be obliged to do remedial (paid) classes within the deadline set by the Dean of the Faculty.
